The prize of £300 is awarded for a significant contribution to the literature of music librarianship by a student or group of students of Library and Information Science, or to a librarian in their first five years of music librarianship.  The deadline for submissions is Monday 11 January 2016.

£450 (matched by £450 from IAML (UK & Irl)) has been awarded to a project to improve and update the data contained in Encore!, the online union catalogue of sets of performance music in UK Libraries.

£3000 has been awarded to Rupert Ridgewell, Susi Woodhouse and Orangeleaf Systems Ltd for a project to redevelop the Cecilia and Concert Programmes databases. 

Following on from her Bryant Prize-winning dissertation on the topic of Dating Music Scores, £750 was awarded to Catherine Small to fund the expansion of her research prior to its publication in Brio in 2014.

Researcher David Beveridge is working on a bibliographic research project on Dvorák's relations with the UK, with funding from the MLT.

Librarian and researcher Catherine Ferris completed the first phase of a project to make the research of Brian Boydell and Barra Boydell into the Dublin Music Trade to 1900 available in a free-to-access online searchable database.

A team of researchers was appointed by MLT to work together on a scoping study aimed at identifying and cataloguing collections of musicians’ letters held in the UK, focusing on material from c. 1900 to the present day.
